Reminiscence

I happen to chance upon my secondary school's student leader council (SLC) blog. And I got to see its tagline "serve and inspire". Really makes me think back about the wonderful memories I had in those days. Honestly, I miss my secondary school days. And I dare say, the best days of my life.

So much has happened since I graduated from secondary school. Its been almost three years now and so much has changed. People changed, generation changed, management changed, mindsets changed, etc.

I really want to go back to those times. So much more carefree than what I'm facing nowadays. When we do work, we also have lots of fun. Many friends in there. Although not all were good, but the best ones came from there too. Had all the fun I can have in camps and the bonding sessions with my classmates and buddies. Not much of those opportunities anymore these days.

Anyway, "Serve and Inspire" was thought by the first Exco Committee. Am proud to be part of it as well. The team was really a wonder team. Consisted of many good leaders of the past, present and future. Also one of the better friends I had in school back then. Initial basis of "Serve and Inspire", be a servant leader and serve, and inspire them to serve as well. I wonder what meaning has gotten into that phrase in the current SLC.
