So difficult to understand

Sometimes I wonder: Are human beings too smart for ourselves?

Are we too smart that we don't even understand ourselves? We can't even understand ourselves, how can we understand other people around us? Do you think you really understand yourself fully? Or you just pretend to understand yourself and try to understand others? Maybe we think that we understand other people, but when you take a step back and look from another angle, you'll see a totally different person from what we assumed we understood.

We invent so many things to make life seem more comfortable and easier, but these are things that are destroying us instead. We think that we have conquered the world, but have we really? We want to conquer the outer universe, but have we even understood about the facts of life? We think that humans are on top of the food pyramid, but are we on the top?

One day, because of the very existence of human beings, we will create our downfall. But still, I cannot comprehend both genders of the homosapiens. People say girls are hard to understand? Boys are equally as tough. The toughest of them all, is myself.
