Yo people! I'm back from Hongkong after 4D3N.
Many things happened over there but I'm just going to summarise the gist of it and let the pictures do the talking. Its interesting to see a new place, especially somewhere overseas. The people, the culture and basically the way that they do things are different. Hkg is something like Singapore, just the chinese/cantonese version.
There were somethings that I felt they were better than Singapore for instance their MTR system compared to our MRT system. Their trains are 2x longer than ours, and the frequency is an average of 2 mins per train. Although the queue is horrible during peak hours (pictures up later). But on the other hand, I still prefer Singapore's cleanliness and greenary. Our housing estate feels more homely too. I guess that's when people say there's no where better than home.
Going on trips in big groups never serve as beneficial to me. I never liked it. I am a person who tries to make everybody happy, although I know that's close to impossible. Big groups is therefore a headache to me. Because I find it very tiring to please so many people. And often it ends up with someone being unhappy, which dampens my mood too. This was also the case for my trip. Shall not elaborate too much on it, but that was the major spoiler about this trip.
Shopping. The killer activity for most male homosapiens. Walking one whole day, lugging a camera bag with a backpack full of shopping bags is no joke. Seriously killing me softly (not literally). Made a wrong choice of shoes as well which murdered my toes. The only good thing about shopping is, new clothing for me. That's all. However, bottom line is, I don't like shopping.
The food there is good too. Well, not all, but most of it tasted delicious. The duck is their specialty. Which we had plenty of. Only one meal was horrible, which also included horrible English on their menu. I ordered "Rice linked with roasted duck". HAHA. No one dared to order anything with funny names, for instance "something something air, water, land." Everyone was laughing so hard we didn't had appetite for that meal.
All in all, this trip was meaningful. Spent time with family, bought new stuff, see new things, and I enjoy travelling. Hopefully next time I get to go to places for pure relaxation. I shall upload as many nice selected pictures. The rest shall be for personal viewing :)
