I swear that the first week of BMT is really horrible.
Although we did not do much Physical Training.
But the things we did were exhausting and taking a toll on both our mentality and physical ability.
If the first week of BMT is already like this, how on earth do I carry on 8 more weeks?!
I learnt how to do camoufladge (I think I look fierce in it when I don't smile), shoot a SAR 21 (next week is my marksman test, and I'm trying to aim for company's best shot), how to do field signals, how to do stuff that a soldier should know. Our bodies and minds are all weak already. I seriously think that PTP backfired in the sense that they made us tired out and now when it comes to BMT, we are all like walking zombies trying to push ourselves further. The duration of PTP is too long, our muscles do not have sufficient rest to recover. No wonder so many failures for IPPT. Ha!
There wasn't National Day mood at all. So upsetting. And instead of having a 3 day weekend, we, the proclaimed very good company, only have 2 days. But anyway, Happy National Day to all Singaporeans out there! Be proud of your country and celebrate 45 years of independence! =D
(as you can see, I'm very patriotic to my country)
I made a really nice friend and I'm going to treasure it.
And that's all I'm going to say =D
