Dig your boots!

And yet, another draggy week has passed.

Physical Training Phase is so boring. Everything we do, everyday we do the same old things. Its to build up our physical fitness, be it stamina, strength or flexibility. But the process of doing it is so so damn boring its making most of us sick physically and mentally.

I am in Orion Company, if I have not mentioned that before. Orion has something got to do with astrological stuff (stars and the universe) and it represents a hunter. I have never heard of this company till I entered the army. And I wasn't expecting tough training or whatnot from there since its unheard of. But guess what, its one of the toughest shit company currently in BMTC. Other Coys (company) like.. I shall not name them.. are so lepak/slack/relaxed/welfare. They get to charge their handphones in their bunks, bring food, book out early, cancel trainings because their commanders feel its too tough for them.

But anyway, I just had my first guard duty on Thursday. Interesting experience. I still find that the attire rather cool. But the weapons we carried were like wooden shields and batons. I'd die if I were to fight like how a spartan warrior would versus a bullet. I guarded the ferry terminal. Stood there like an idiot. Also did prowling around the island at 12 midnight. Tired, boring, body aches, feet hurts. What more do you expect. That's what the army provides you.

My cough got better before. But now, its getting worse. I can't sleep at night because of my cough. Its like a disease on a rampage. Everyone is spreading it to everyone else and I believe its mutating to a stronger virus. No one seems to get well from the notorious Tekong Cough.

Complaining done for the week.
